Land (3 acres) purchased 23rd June 1997

RAL delivered to the site on the 23 October 1999. It's nearly finished (I know I keep saying that, but I really mean it this time).

I have to say it's been hard going at times, but it's great to look back and say that with the help of a few dedicated friends, we have done it ourselves. All except the stumps, which turned out to be one of the greatest problems we had.

If you want a recommendation for someone to put in stumps, I'm not the person to ask.

 

1st September, 2002

We are building the kitchen benches at the moment.

Then just a bit more painting (I love painting) a couple of doors to fit and thats it for the moment.

I'm glad to say that we have finished the painting.

5th May, 2003

We have just done the wall tiles in the Kitchen.

This is where the Clipsal CBus system is going to be Installed.

All the Clipsal CBus equipment Installed. One 12 channel relay module for the outdoor lighting and two 8 channel dimmer modules for the inside lights. The small module at the bottom is the PC interface. The system was Installed by Luke from Adept Electrical Group.

Outside view (I'm glad it's Greg doing the cutout, and not me). It seemed like a good idea to do this Installation after we had finished the roof. I would have to say that's it got to be easier doing it when you do the roof.
